Zepia Eltnam Atlasia (ズェピア・エルトナム・アトラシア, Zwepia Erutonamu Atorashia?) is the head of Atlas and one of its Six Sources in Fate Worlds. In Fate Worlds, the title of Dead Apostle Ancestor does not exist, and although Zepia became a Vampire, he has not left Atlas like his Tsukihime World counterpart, Night of Wallachia.

Background[]
Zepia became director of Atlas around 1400 AD and has held the position ever since.[2] Before becoming the director, he had chosen the name "Oberon" for himself. In the World of Magecraft, where a resemblance of names holds a deep meaning, the relationship between him and the fairy king Oberon of A Midsummer Night’s DreamWP is a story only he knows.[3]
In the past, Zepia calculated that, depending on the circumstances, Gransurg Blackmore might have become his comrade. But it's only a possibility of what could have been, as, before he was born, this possibility, like several other possible branches, was cut off nearly 1700 years ago.[4]
Zepia came to recognize Sion as his most talented descendant and adopted her as his daughter, giving her the name Sion Eltnam Sokaris.[5] Zepia was supposed to create TRI-HERMES's sister unit, TRISMEGISTUS, before its development was handed off to Sion.[6]

He physically appears to be around 25 years old.[7]
Personality[]
The Fate timeline Zepia had maintained his sanity and was a nurturing paternal figure to Sion, unlike his Tsukihime counterpart. He showed remarkable concern for Sion and seemingly humanity as a whole, as he allowed her to leave Atlas in order to provide aid to Chaldea against the Alien God. While he has a strong one-sided love for Sion, it is rumoured that he adds to her trials out of a joy of seeing her under stress, but it is unconfirmed.[3] He is a loving father who often dotes on Sion.[8]
Zepia is constantly calculating the countless possibilities of reality, to the point that sometimes it seems that he can see the future. He calls these calculated possibilities scripts, as if the world were a play, though because there are so many possibilities he cannot be sure of what "script" the world will follow. For example, when he calculated that Lord El-Melloi II would visit him, he wasn't sure if Reines El-Melloi Archisorte would also come along. There were scripts where she both did and didn't.[9]
Completely separate from his pursuit of magecraft, he has an overwhelming love for theater.[3]

Doctor Heartless met Zepia some time ago, and in exchange for asking Zepia to not calculate anything regarding Heartless's future, Heartless provided him information about the Fuyuki Holy Grail War. Zepia had no interest in entering the War himself, but he was curious about the spells behind it and the Third Magic.[10]
When Lord El-Melloi II and Reines El-Melloi Archisorte first came to the Blackmore Cemetery, they met Zepia living in a cabin there as a guest because he's contractually obliged to help the village in its ritual so he can get back one of the Atlas Contracts, which they somehow got a hold of back in the days. Zepia is a nomad, going wherever he wants even as the Director of Atlas instead of "living like a mole" in his words, because he has some sort of "landline" that allows him to keep in contact and share information with Atlas no matter where he is on the globe.[4]
Months later, Waver recalls something that Zepia said back then that makes him realize he was connected to Doctor Heartless, so both he and Gray go back to the cemetery and find Zepia still there, who then activate Logos React, one of Atlas' seven superweapons, which sends the two of them into a recreation of the past.[11] Svin Glascheit and Flat Escardos come across Zepia, and with Flat's magic hacking are able to interfere with Logos React's simulation to help Gray and El-Melloi II from the outside.[12] When Logos React begins rampaging Zepia is able to stop it almost single handedly.[13]

He remained the Director of Atlas until the Incineration of Humanity in 2016, during which the Atlas Temple became displaced from its own time period and caused a temporal aberration within the Egyptian territory in the Camelot Singularity. Sherlock Holmes noticed a plaque with his name on it.

When Sion, after consulting TRI-HERMES, discovered that the world would end in 2018, reported her findings to Zepia, he replied that, as he sees humanity ending every day, she shouldn't waste his time with this triviality. He added that, as she was the one who discovered that problem, she should be the one to solve it on her own.[6]

At some point in the past, Zepia had given Sion the Logos React Generic as a birthday gift.[14]
Abilities[]
His number of and precision with Memory Partition are overwhelming even compared to other members of the Atlas Institute, as shown by his ability during the story to suppress the rampaging Logos React almost single handedly.[3][10] He can observe what is happening inside Logos React with a crystal ball.[15]
Zepia is a Dead Apostle, although unlike his Tsukihime parallel, this Zepia did not allow his bloodthirst to consume him. Instead, he had managed to create a synthetic blood formula that could easily sustain his centuries long life studying in the seclusion of Atlas.

Upon the continent, in the countries of Western Europe, the influence of the Holy Church expands.
The Thaumaturgical Association declines.
The ravages of the battle against Crimson Moon are vast.

The thaumaturgical cities established by the Association are in the dispute against the Holy Church shut down one by one.
On account that Crimson Moon was annihilated, Gransurg Blackmore does in the midst of despair accept annihilation.
Though he reared disciples, in a battle against an Executor who chanced upon him on a night of a blue Moon, he gracefully accepted defeat.

A contingent of magi establish their headquarters upon the island of Britain.

Advancing in their excavation of Britain's subterranea, the Clock Tower acquires a vast thaumaturgical asset.

(Being that at this time, the Faculty of Policies was treated still as an academic faculty, there were twelve faculties.)

Zepia assumes posting as the Director of the Academy at Atlas.
Said posting subsequently persists unto present day.
Circa 1600 AD
The Faculty of Policies is in its manner of existence viewed as problematic, and its standing as an academic faculty is annulled.
Subsequently, it becomes as the Department of Policies, and the twelve academic faculties are amended to eleven.
Circa 1800 AD
England, the Industrial Revolution.
Though this was as a severe blow to the thaumaturgical world, escalation in the complexity of knowledge and technology did likewise confer certain benefits.
Being as unto the Holy Church — which had by pushing 「a singular worldview」 expanded its influence — it constituted an unparalleled attack, the Association even provided backing.
Contemporaneous, the internal conflict on the matter of whether to regard the Industrial Revolution with affirmation did subsequently become as the root cause of the dispute between the Aristocratic and Democratic Factions.
The genre of modern thaumaturgical theory could no longer be disregarded, and was appended to fill the slot of the lost twelfth faculty.
However, even that it had been appended in the capacity of a twelfth faculty, being as modern magecraft was itself still held in contempt, no governor (Lord) was at this stage yet assigned.
